OUR STORY

Hello I’m Travis Klein and thanks for stopping by our website. I moved to Iowa in 2019 with my wife Sarah from Colorado. I am originally from Texas, and in 2017 when I first visited, I instantly fell for the rolling hills, Hawkeyes, and great people.

Sarah and I now live out in the country with our two Australian Shepards Koah & Blue.

I look forward to continuing to grow Klein Construction and support our great local businesses.

Darren Spenler here, I graduated from ISU with a Construction Engineering degree in 1985. Since graduating, I have worked in construction throughout California, Nevada ,and Iowa.

I started TD Builders in 2002 working on many successful commercial and residential projects around Iowa City and the Corridor.

I sold my interest in TD builders to my partner in 2020 and started Klein Construction with Travis in 2020 and have continued to work in the commercial and residential areas.
